Angus Grant; a new role in Carlisle

We are delighted to welcome back Angus Grant to a new role as head of new business development for Carlisle Brass.  Gus has been with the business since 2006 initially working in commercial management at APC, Carlisle Brass’ manufacturing facility in Hangzhou, China.  In 2008 he moved to Dubai to start up our Middle East operations, where he was Managing Director.  Angus is a GAI Diploma holder, registered AI and was until the end of June, Vice-Chairman of the Gulf region branch of the Institute of Architectural Ironmongers.

Angus a native of Cumbria is married to Dee, and has two young daughters.  He and his family came back to the UK in June before starting his new role on July 1st.

In his new role, Gus will continue to have responsibility for overseeing our Dubai business, but will also be providing business development support to our recently established sales operation in China.  He will also be leading product group strategy reviews across a number of areas in Carlisle Brass.
