Angus Grant PictureCarlisle Brass announces appointment of Angus Grant as Managing Director.

Angus first joined Carlisle Brass in 2000, working in the warehouse during university summer holidays. On completion of his graduate scheme with the BMW Group, he returned in 2006 to join the company’s manufacturing facility in Hangzhou, China where he was responsible for export.

Angus moved from China to Dubai in 2008 and founded Carlisle Brass Middle East, initially under the EUROSPEC brand. Carlisle Brass Group products feature in some of the Gulf’s most prestigious projects such as the iconic Yas Hotel, which bridges over the Abu Dhabi F1 circuit, and the World Trade Centre in Doha. He was also Vice Chairman of the GCC Institute of Architectural Ironmongers in Dubai.  

Angus moved back to Carlisle with his family in 2015 originally as Head of Business Development. He brings considerable industry experience, including manufacturing, commercial and general management, and remains a Vice Chairman within the Institute of Architectural Ironmongers.
