Purpose of the role
As Admin Support, you will provide a high standard of administrative support to a busy Finance team and wider business.
This role would ideally suit a school or college leaver, however all applications are considered for candidates who have a keen interest in developing their career within our Finance team.
Key responsibilities
- Answering and transferring telephone calls, taking messages, and redirecting where necessary.
- Monitoring the company’s inbox and post, forwarding to the correct parties and actioning requests.
- Running monthly statements and dunning letters.
- Scanning documents to the electronic filing system.
- Responding to requests for copy invoices, Statements and POD’s.
- Managing the stock and re-ordering stationary for the wider business.
- Welcoming visitors onto site.
- Providing administrative support to the finance team.
- Speaking to customers and peers via telephone and e mail.
- Assisting other team members.
Skills Required
Previous experience in an office-based role is not essential as full training will be given, Good numeracy and communication skills essential. A problem-solving mindset, polite and confident telephone manner. Knowledge in MS Office applications - Outlook, Excel & Word and desire to learn and develop their knowledge and skills.
