At the end of Summer 2021, we installed 6 electric charging points at Carlisle Brass headquarters, offering a charging facility for our staff and customers who visit the site.

This is something that we have wanted to implement for a great length of time. With the recent change on moving many of our fleets cars to being hybrid vehicles, we thought this would be the best opertunity to have the charging points installed. By the end of 2022 we plan to have all company vehicles moved across to Hybrid models, as we aim to improve our sustainability year-on-year.

Pod-Point (as pictured left) are one of the leading providers of electric vehicle charging. As of December 2021 they have manufacturered and sold 137,000 charging points across the UK since forming in 2009. 

The average UK car produces around 1,682,383 Grams of CO2 per year, so this is very much a journey that we are happy to be apart of with Pod-Point.
